Play T-REX!

Today we celebrate Marc Bolan’s birthday loud and proud. Born in 1947, Bolan was born to boogie and we’re mighty grateful for that. In turn, we’re playing some T-Rex and encourage you to do the same.

“The Wild Witch Wizard of Esher – Was a changeling son from Mars.  He learned his song from the Cosmic Throngs – And played them on a Fender guitar, oh yeah – And played them on a Fender guitar.”

A verse from King Of The Mountain Cometh -1971

Remembering Marc Bolan

33 years ago today we tragically lost our metal guru, our electric warrior, the one and only Marc Bolan in a fatal car crash in Barnes, England.  Three decades later his elfin spirit continues to reign through his words and his music. Marc was the real deal; a poet, a guitarist,  a real 20th century superstar and like many of you we’ve pledged to keep Marc in our hearts.  Today and always.

We dedicate this tribute to Gloria and Rolan.

Looks like a good time was had by all.
